As a good rule, you should
throughly clean your makeup
brushes a minimum of one time
per week.

What goes on in your make up bag
Oh, what horrors I have seen! Crusty and broken
shadows, dated lip colors, and the biggest offender,
scraggly old brushes. Talk about a hot bed of
bacteria.

Keep your bag clean. Your skin won't breakout.

Update your makeup so the colors will stay true
and the formulas won't dry out. Most women have
a bevy of wrong colors that they discovered did not
work only after purchasing. Get rid of them. For
half-used or almost-gone lipsticks, dig them out
and put them into a pillbox for a great lipstick
palette. Broken, but not old, eye shadows can be
put in small containers.

Scraggly brushes should hit the trash. Keep nice,
soft brushes and clean them weekly.

Basic must-haves; pressed powder compact,
tweezers, travel-size moisturizer and sunscreen,
concealer, blusher, highlighter, mascara, lip balm,
travel-size hand sanitizer and breath mints. What
